La Manga - Strip of land between two seas

La Manga is a unique natural formation, a strip of land separating the Mediterranean Sea from the Mar Menor lagoon. This creates a perfect environment for water sports and beach activities.

Both sides offer calm, shallow waters—ideal for children—as even on the Mediterranean side, you have to walk quite a distance before it gets deep. With its sunny climate, vibrant nightlife, and numerous restaurants, La Manga is a popular destination for both relaxation and fun.

How to Get Here

Visitors from the UK

For visitors coming from the United Kingdom, the easiest option is to fly into Murcia-Corvera Airport (although Alicante Airport is still a feasible, albeit longer, alternative). From there, you can either take public transport to La Manga or rent a car directly at the airport.

Visitors from other European countries

For visitors coming from other parts of Europe, the best option is to fly into Alicante Airport. Once there, we recommend renting a car, as although there are bus connections to the Region of Murcia, they currently tend to result in longer travel times in most cases.
